Ask the Coach with Head Coach Jason Wilson: Week 9

Eagle Eye: What are your thoughts on last week’s loss to Hollidaysburg?

Coach Wilson: We missed too many opportunities and let them get the momentum. I need to get us playing at our highest level and potential every play from the start.

EE: What does the offense need to improve?

CW: Staying with blocks upfront and with wide receivers blocking downfield.

EE: What does the defense need to improve?

CW: We need to work on tackling and aligning correctly

EE: What’s the main focus for special teams his week?

CW: Do not give up any big plays in the special teams game.

EE: Do you think the team is fired up about this loss?

CW: I hope so. We are still in good position for playoffs but our backs are to the wall. We need to play with heart and some fire.

EE: How is the team going to get refocused and ready for Penns Valley?

CW: We need to regroup and focus on our little mistakes that are having huge impacts.

EE: What is the defensive game plan for this week?

CW: Stop number 25.  Tackle after the catch and contain the pass.

EE: What is the offensive game plan for this week?

CW: Get the running game moving and have a steady passing game.

EE: Who is the best NFL player to ever play?

CW: I don’t like the NFL but in my lifetime I’d say Jerry Rice.

EE: Would you rather eat apples or oranges?

CW: Apples, preferably Honey Crisp.
