Each week of the season the Eagle Eye interview’s Tyrone Head Coach Jason Wilson

Eagle Eye: What are you thoughts on the loss against Chestnut Ridge?

Coach Wilson: “We need to complete a full game.”

EE: How is the team going to bounce back from this loss?

CW: “Get focused and move on. We are still in playoffs.”

EE: What are some things you need to improve on offensively?

CW: “We need to stay with our blocks. We need to block outside and complete short passing game.”

EE: What are some things you need to improve on defensively?

CW: “We need to be more aggressive, tackling and defensive backs need to catch the ball at the highest point.”

EE: What are some thoughts on the special teams?

CW: “We did good overall. We suffered injuries which changed the special teams and the people that went in stepped up and did well.”

EE: What is the offensive game plan for this week?

CW: “Score more points than the opponent.”

EE: What is the defensive game plan for this week?

CW: “Be aggressive and no deep balls.”

EE: Coming into this week, what is the team goal?

CW: “We need to stay together, stay focused, study, be prepared, and have fun.”

EE: How is the team going to get focused for this first playoff game?

CW: “It has been a rough season. Things we can’t control. We are here in the playoffs with the number 3 seed and a home game. The fans would also help if they came and supported us.”

EE: Would you rather fight one horse sized duck or 100 duck sized horses?

CW: “A horse sized duck because I could run faster than it.”
