Sport: Volleyball

Accomplishment: Rylan has had an outstanding season accumulating 134 kills in total. She is a reliable team contributor as a starting sophomore. In the recent volleyball playoff game, Crowell had 15 service points and 19 digs to help her team.


Eagle Eye: How did you first get involved with the sport?
Rylan Crowell: My friend told me about it, so I started going to clinics in like 5th grade.

RC: Basketball

EE: Who is your hero? Why?
RC: My dad, he’s always telling me to give 100% and chase the impossible.

RC: Always be your best self, and work as hard as you can.

Lexi Hess is currently a senior at Tyrone Area High School. This is Lexi's fourth year on the Tyrone Eagle Eye News team. She has an interest in writing a variety of stories. She is a studious student who takes her academics seriously. She is also involved in school by participating in clubs, such as the Student Council, Prom Committee, and NHS. She was accepted into South Hills School of Business and Technology and plans to attend there starting in fall 2025. She intends to study their Diagnostic Medical Sonography program for 3 years. This year, Lexi hopes to produce well-written articles and improve her skills in journalism and photography.

Cohen Wallace is a senior at TAHS and will be entering his first year of Eagle Eye. Cohen's hobbies include football, wrestling, and track. He is very passionate about his favorite sports teams: The Miami Hurricanes and The Tampa Bay Buccaneers. When he is not in school, he loves to spend time with his friends and cook Braden Ewing in cornhole. After high school, Cohen wishes to work in the education field, as well as someday possibly becoming a football coach. Cohen looks forward to writing about sports and different community events that happen all around Tyrone.
