The Tyrone Area School District will hold its annual Career Expo in the high school gymnasium on October 20 from 8:00 am-12:00 pm for students in grades 9-12.

“This is an excellent opportunity for students to ask questions and explore multiple career and job options,” said Tyrone High School guidance counselor Tiffany Johannides.

The expo will give students the opportunity to learn about multiple employers and post-secondary opportunities and walk away with some idea of what they may want to do after graduating from high school.

This year Tyrone will be host to 23 businesses and post secondary schools, including:

Freshmen are scheduled to attend 1st period, sophomores 2nd period, juniors 3rd period, and seniors 4th period.

Students are looking forward to the free handouts, such as candy and pens, and learning more about career and job choices.
