5K 10K and Kids Sprint Race in Tyrone on 3/19
The race is apart of the Tyrone Irish Heritage fest.
The Second Annual Tyrone Gold Rush 5K, 10K, and Kids Sprint Race will be held on March 19, 2022.
The event is part of Tyrone’s annual Irish Heritage Weekend sponsored by Tyrone Events and Promotions.
The 5K and 10K races will start at 8 am and the free kids sprint race for ages 9 and under starts at 10:30.
The cost for the 5K and 10K races is $25 for adults and $15 for students in advance and $30 for adults, $20 for students on race day.

Registrations received by Thursday, February 24 are guaranteed a race shirt.
Registration forms are also available in person at the Tyrone Chamber of Commerce, 1004 Logan Ave.
Awards for the top overall male and female as well as the top three finishers in all age groups will be presented immediately following the race.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Tyrone Golden Eagle Backpack Program.
The Golden Eagle Backpack Program offers meals and snacks for weekends and holidays for needy students in the Tyrone Area School District.
Registration and the start/finish will be held at the Tyrone Armory.
