The annual Powderpuff game will be held on Tuesday, May 27th at Gray-Vets Field starting at 7 PM.

Every year the powderpuff game is sponsored by Tyrone Elks Lodge. The senior girls face the junior girls in a flag football game that is coached by the members of the Golden Eagles Football team.

Proceeds from this game benefit the Ellenberger Scholarship (presented to a senior member of the Tyrone Golden Eagle Football team) each year. Other programs that benefit from this event are the Elks Drug Awareness Program and Youth Activities.

The first scheduled powderpuff meeting for any senior or junior girl interested will be held on Wednesday, April 2nd at 6:30 PM. The meeting will take place outside the high school athletic office. At this meeting, all permission forms will be handed out.

The second scheduled meeting with all participants will be held on Wednesday, April 9th at 6:30 PM outside the high school athletic office. Everyone playing is required to sign up and give a jersey number and name. All forms will be collected along with shirt money. Once this meeting is over and the player has turned in all forms, they are permitted to practice.
