Congratulations to Lexi Hess for being the 2024 Homecoming Queen! Nominated by the Prom Committee and the daughter of Kyle and Jill Hess. She participates in National Honors Society, Student Council, YAN, Golden Revolution, and is a Co-editor-in-chief for the Eagle Eye. Lexi was accepted into South Hills and plans to attend there for medical sonography in her future.

Congratulations to Kasey Daughenbaugh for being the 2024 Homecoming Princess! Kasey was nominated by the Cheerleading Team and is the daughter of Buddy and Kendra Daughenbaugh. She is an active member of HOSA, National Honors Society, YAN, Prom Committee, and Student Council. Kasey’s future plans are to attend college and earn her BSN to become a nurse anesthetist.

Congratulations to Sophia Cowher for being the 2024 homecoming queen 2nd runner-up! Sophia was nominated by the Swim Team and is the daughter of Shane and Kelly Cowher. Sophia is also an active member in Cross Country, YAN, Golden Revolution, Student Council, and Prom Committee. Sophia’s future plans are to attend college and major in elementary education.

Congratulations to Alayna Greene for being the 2024 Homecoming queen 3rd runner-up! Alayna was nominated by the Basketball Team and is the daughter of Mike and Tarin Greene. Her future plans are to attend South Hills to become a phlebotomist.

Olivia McMonagle tied for winning 4th runner-up
Olivia Mcmonagle

Congratulations to Olivia McMonagle for being the 2024 Homecoming queen 4th runner-up! Olivia was nominated by the Yearbook Committee and is the daughter of Joy Schandlemeier and Dave McMonagle. Olivia is also an active member of the National Honors Society, Eagle Eye News, Prom Committee, YAN, Student Council, and has been a competitive cheerleader for the past six years. Olivia’s future plans are to attend college or trade school to study marketing, sales, and/or business.

Nora Hoy

Congratulations to Nora Hoy for being a 2024 Homecoming queen 4th runner-up! Nora was nominated by the FFA and is the daughter of Phillip and Tiffany Hoy. Nora is also a member of the National Honors Society, Main Street Dance Company, Huntingdon County Fair Queen Court, and is a Huntingdon County Jr. Fair Board member. Nora plans to attend Penn State University to dual major in dance and environmental science.

Dylan Ewing, Sports Editor
Dylan is a senior at Tyrone. He is currently in his second year of Eagle Eye, his third year of writing for the school, and his second year being the publications sports editor. He enjoys playing golf, lifting weights, and hanging out with friends and family. He hopes to attend college after graduating and receive a degree in business and administration. He hopes to better the Eagle Eye and his fellow writers each and every day.
Todd Cammarata
Todd Cammarata, Adviser
Mr. Todd Cammarata, or "TCamm" as he is known to the Eagle Eye Staff, has been advising the Eagle Eye since 2013.  He also advises the Eagle Yearbook and teaches several other classes including US Civics and Psychology.  Cammarata grew up around journalism and photography. His dad ran a local weekly newspaper in Patton, PA for many years.  Cammarata enjoys photography and he is often a photo contributor to the Eagle Eye. In 2023 Cammarata was named the Pennsylvania Journalism Teacher of the Year by the Pennsylvania School Press Association. Under his advising, the Eagle Eye has won many state and national awards including being named the Best Student Website in Pennsylvania by the Keystone Media Awards. The Eagle Eye has also earned the SNO Distinguished Site Award every year it has been offered.
