“Mr. Wilson is an outstanding teacher with an amazing personality and great teaching skills — something that not every teacher has. He’s made a huge impact on my life, even if he wasn’t my teacher for very long. He also taught in a way that inspired my love for science and is one of the reasons I’m going to pursue a career in it in the future.”

“I’ve had plenty of teachers who have impacted my life positively. I’m a diabetic student and need to have different accommodations than most, and almost every teacher who has been made aware of this has gone out of their way to make sure I was alright. I will say one teacher who stood out was Mr. Wilson. Every time my sugar was low or high, or when my glucose meter would make a sound in general, he’d pull me aside and ask if I was doing alright or if I needed to go to the nurse. Sure it was small, but something like that will always stick with me. He also taught in a way that inspired my love for science and is one of the reasons I’m going to pursue a career in it in the future.
