Eagle Eye: When did you start playing volleyball?

Kaitlyn Houck: I started playing in 7th grade

EE: Why did you start playing volleyball?

KH: I started because a lot of my friends played and I wanted to try a new sport

EE: What position do you play?

KH: Libero/ DS (defensive specialist)

EE: What is your favorite part about the sport?

KH: My favorite part about the sport is the team becoming a family and us working hard to celebrate victories together

EE: What is your favorite memory from playing volleyball?

KH: My favorite memory is the bus rides home while we sing and celebrate

EE: How has playing volleyball impacted your life?

KH: Volleyball taught me a lot about myself and who I strive to be. It made me confident but humble and has given me friends I can count on

EE: What are your plans after high school?

KH: I plan to attend Saint Francis in a 5 year accelerated program to be a physicians assistant
