Jacob Johnson: “When I was five years old.”

EE: Who inspired you as a young athlete to play football?

JJ: “My dad”

EE: What position do you play? 

JJ: “Defensive end, fullback, and long snapper.”

EE: What is your favorite part about the sport?

JJ: “Just hitting everything and everyone you can.”

EE: What is your favorite memory of the sport? 

JJ: “Going to districts last year.”

EE: What are some of your pre-game rituals? 

JJ: “Stretch at 6 AM, go to school, eat something random I find in my fridge, then get taped by Dave and write on my wrist tape.”

EE: What other sports do you play?

JJ: “Basketball and track.”

EE: What are your plans after high school? 

JJ: “Go to Penn State for criminology, then be a federal air marshal.”

EE: Do you have any advice for young athletes who want to play football?

JJ: “Enjoy every second you can, you never know which play will be your last.”
