Eva Toth: Six
EE: Why did you start running track?
ET: I honestly can’t even remember. I think because Natalie was.
EE: What was your favorite part about the sport?
ET: The adrenaline rush of hurdling
EE: What is your favorite memory from track?
ET: Watching the Great Duck Voyage of April 21st, 2022, in which a male, mallard duck made his way from the northernmost point of the creek to the southernmost point of the creek.
EE: Do you have any superstitions before a track meet? If so, what are they?
ET: I always braid my hair the exact same way and Avalyn and I always listen to our warmup music.
EE: What was your favorite thing to eat before a meet?
ET: Cashews and grapes
EE: What was your favorite track/meet to run at?
ET: I don’t know, but not Altoona.
EE: What are your plans after high school?
ET: Studying economics and international relations at the University of Washington
EE: Do you plan to keep running in your free time?
ET: Of course
EE: Advice for future runners:
ET: Don’t push yourself/ take breaks, and always ice and ibuprofen.
