This week we honor two varsity basketball players who helped lead the team to wins last week. Ross Gampe hit a buzzer-beater to win against Bellefonte, and Keegan Gwinn had a career-high 23 points to beat Hollidaysburg.

Accomplishments: Scored a buzzer-beater in a home game against Bellefonte, which won them the game.
Eagle Eye: How did you first get involved in this sport?
RG: “A coach talked me into playing in like 6th grade since I was so tall.”

RG: “Baseball, Football”
EE: Favorite professional sports team?
RG: “Pittsburgh Pirates”

RG: “Lamelo Ball”
EE: Who do you admire the most? Why?
RG: “My parents for allowing me to do the things I love.”

RG: “Lil Tecca”

RG: “Back at the Barnyard”

RG: “Hamburgers”
EE: What advice would you give younger athletes?
RG: “Have confidence in yourself, and put in as much extra effort as you can.”

RG: “Attend Penn State University and play either football or baseball.”

Accomplishments: Gwinn had a career and game-high 23 points and 17 rebounds to lead the Golden Eagles to a big 71-65 victory over Mountain Leauge rival Hollidaysburg.

KG: “I started playing in kindergarten at the Rec Center.”

KG: “Football, Track and Field”

KG: “Pittsburgh Steelers”

KG: “My dad for always pushing me to do the best I can”
