Name: Andrew Weaver 

Sport: Track and Field

Grade: 11

Accomplishment: Andrew placed in all three jumps at the Lock Haven Invitational placing 3rd in triple jump, 6th in long jump, and 8th in high jump


Eagle Eye: How did you first get involved in this sport?

Andrew Weaver:  I joined last year when all my buddies said I should.

EE: What other sport(s) or other activities are you involved in?

AW: Football and wrestling 

EE: Favorite college or pro sports team?

AW: Seattle Seahawks 

EE: Favorite college or pro athlete?

AW: Nate Diaz

EE: Who do you admire the most and why?

AW:  My Grandfather for his wisdom and my brother for his hard work.

EE: Favorite band/musician?

AW: Migos

EE: Favorite Food

AW: Chicken 

EE: Favorite Movie/TV show

AW: Wind River 

EE: What advice would you give younger athletes?

AW:  Try new things, you might be good at them.

Name: Kylee Nelson

Accomplishment: Got a personal record and won first place in javelin at the Lockhaven Invitational.

 


Eagle Eye: How did you first get involved in this sport?

Kylee Nelson: I did the indoor track but got injured so I did the school team instead.

EE: What other sport(s) or other activities are you involved in?

KN: Volleyball

EE: Favorite college or pro sports team?

KN: Nebraska Cornhuskers 

EE: Favorite college or pro athlete?

KN: Morgan Hentz

EE: Who do you admire the most and why?

KN: I admire my parents because they are the ones who got me this far and allowed me to do all the things I do for sports.

KN: Chase Atlantic

EE: What advice would you give younger athletes?

KN: Don’t give up, it takes time to achieve the goals you want.

EE: What are your future goals past High School?

KN: Attend college and play volleyball or track.
