EE: Why did you enter the short story contest?

AH: I entered this story because I thought it was the best writing I had done this year.

EE: What inspired the story?

AH: This story wasn’t really inspired by anything I had just wanted to write about something no one else would.

EE: How long did it take to write?

AH: It took about three days to write.

EE: What do you like about it?

AH: I don’t write often enough to have a favorite topic.

EE: Which other stories were your favorite? Why?

AH: I really liked, “My Bible in the Nightstand,” it was something different.

EE: Are you surprised that you won?

AH: In a way yes, but my friends let me know who they voted for.

EE: What are you going to spend your Sheetz money on?

AH: I’ll probably buy food, what else?
