Vance scores twice on senior night win against BEA

Senior Carrie Vance scored both of the Lady Eagle’s goals in a 2-1 win over the Bald Eagle Lady Eagles on Senior Night.

Vance’s first goal was 15 minutes into the game, on a pass from Sophomore Hailey Durbin.

A short 48 seconds later, Bald Eagle’s Haley Furrow put a ball past senior keeper Alayna Roberts to make the score 1-1.

The Lady Eagles held each other to one goal each, until freshman Elina Lure gave off the ball to Vance. Vance answered again with another shot making the score 2-1 at the half.

Both the Tyrone Lady Eagles and the Bald Eagle Lady Eagles ended up scoreless for the next 65 minutes, giving the Lady Eagles the win.

This was the last home game for Seniors Hope Wilson, Alayna Roberts, and Carrie Vance.

The Lady Eagles first playoff game is on Thursday, October 23rd, at Bedford at 7:30pm.
