A good season for the Tyrone Golden Eagle Marching Band got even better this past Saturday as they placed first at their latest competition at DuBois Area High School on Saturday, October 15.

The band is currently in second place in their division.

“We had a great performance. I was surprised but very happy to see our score go up four points. The students have been working hard, so they deserve it. However, it’s important that they stay focused and work even harder this week in preparation for Region Championships. My goal is to increase our score even more and make it the best performance possible this Saturday,” said Tyrone Band Director David Hock.
