Senior Nick Getz had triple victories in the 100, 200 and 400 relay and Cullen Raftery won in the high jump, triple jump, and pole vault as Tyrone boys track defeated Central 107-39 and Penns Valley 83-67 at home yesterday to remain undefeated on the season at 5-0-1.

For the girls, Tyrone’s Tori Crabtree placed in the 100, 200, and 1600 relay as the Lady Eagles defeated Central 67-58, but lost to Penns Valley 112-29.  The girls improved their record to 2-4.

Winners for the Golden Eagles were:

Boys Track:

The boys 3200 meter relay of Connor Stroud, Jake Makdad, Kyle Plummer and Sean Isenberg took 1st with a time of 9:16.45.

Joe Kohler and Adam Zook swept the 1600 meter run taking first and second place with 4:56 and 4:59.

In the 400 meter Duane Boone and Makdad took first and second with 54.76 and 57.31.

The 4×100 relay team of Will Lash, Parker Mitchell, Connor Harper and Nick Getz took first with 44.82. Lash also placed first in the 300 meter hurdles.

Tyrone swept the 200 meter with top three placers of Getz, Harper and Lash.

Kohler and Zook stole first and second in the 3200 run.

Boys Field:

Raftery cleared 9’0″ in the pole vault, 5’8″ in high jump and 39’11” in the triple, taking first in all three events.

Tyrone placed in the top threes in javelin with Garrett Hunter of 142’3″, Mark Lewis with 134’2″, and Jeff McNelis with 126’1.5. Nathan Miller, Ricky Reader and Nick Bonsell also placed in the top three in the shot put with 42’2″, 41’3″, and 40’6.5.

McNelis also took first in discus with 99’10.5 followed by Bonsell with 98’8″.

Girls Track:

The 1600 relay team of Cassie Friday, Tori Crabtree, Shaniah Lowery and Emily Beam took first with a time of 5:10.33.

Tori Crabtree placed in all her events with 14.00 in the 100 meter dash and 29.46 in the 200 meter dash.

Emily Beam took 2nd in the 400 meter dash with 1:13.14 and Sean Dawson took 2nd in the 1600 run.

Girls Field:

Marin Grabill placed first in the long jump with 14-5.

In the shot put Lowery placed third with 26-8 1/2 and Carly Crofcheck took second in the javelin with a throw of 90-1 1/2.
