Tonight at Gray-Veterans Memorial Field the Tyrone Golden Eagles face off against the Eagles of Bald Eagle Area.

The BEA Eagles are very large up front on both sides of the ball. Tyrone will really need to focus if they want to continue their three game winning streak.

The weather may be a factor as rain may be in the forcast. That will play in the favor of BEA as as they are larger up front.

Both teams will likely focus on running the ball since both of them are a run heavy team. Both will look to dominate the line of scrimmage early. Look for it to be a close, and hard fought win for either team.

On offense BEA will look to showcase their dominating line and try and push the smaller Tyrone linemen around. They will also look to run in almost every situation. They have a lot of confidence in their running game and look to have success even against a Tyrone team that prides itself on being strong against the run.

Tyrone’s offensive game plan is very similar to that of Bald Eagles’. They will look to pound the ball and wear down the big front of the Eagles; along with quick passes and long drives.

BEA will attempt to bring pressure so Tyrone will have to make the right calls and block correctly against this high risk high reward style defense.

Tyrone quarterback Drew Hunter will have to trust his line to give him protection this week. The Eagles are relentless in their pass rush and this weather won’t slow it down.

Tyrone’s Colby Pannebaker will have big task this week going against BEA standout defensive lineman Josh Fye. Fye is big, fast, strong and a force to be reckoned with on the field. If the Tyrone offense wants to do well, Pannebaker will need to limit Fye’s impact on the game.

This week’s game should be a lot closer than last week’s blowout victory against P-O. They will have to use teamwork and poise against this big opponent.
