The school year has finally started; football games have begun, and one thing everyone looks forward to is the annual Homecoming Football Game.

Here’s a run down of important Homecoming dates:

Monday, September 19 is the final deadline for all coaches and club advisers to make their senior homecoming nominations.

On Wednesday, September 21, the excitement begins when the homecoming nominees have their first meeting in Mrs. Smith’s room (229) at 7:30 am.  Stay tuned to the Eagle Eye for the official announcement of all the nominees.

Two days later on September 23^rd   the Nominee Biography Info Sheets will be due to Mrs. Smith.

Picture time is when things start to get real. On Tuesday, September 27^th the nominee’s photos will be taken by the Eagle Eye photographers (rain date: September 28).

Then the voting starts. Homecoming cans will be due October 3^rd and penny voting  will occur at all lunches from the October 3rd to October 5^th.  

Homecoming interviews will be on October 4^th and the popular vote will be held on October 5^th.

But October 7^th is the date everyone will be talking about.

Not only is it that the date of the Homecoming football game, it is also the day everyone will find out the 2016 Homecoming Court winners!
