EE: Why did you choose to play tennis?
Lydia Irvin: Watching my brother play and seeing my dad coach really made me want to play!
EE: What was your favorite part about playing?
LI: I love the sport in general but winning was my favorite part!
EE: What was your favorite memory from tennis?
LI: Our final away match because we went to Texas Roadhouse and Victoria rode the saddle!
EE: What was your favorite team to play and why?
LI: Hollidaysburg because they had us on their senior night so we got a bunch of free food!
EE: What school had the best courts to play on?
LI: Probably Altoona because they have six courts.
EE: What do you plan to do after graduation?
LI: Go to college to become an RN!
EE: Do you think you will continue to play tennis?
LI: Yes, but not on a team, just for fun!
EE: How had playing tennis impacted your life?
LI: It has really helped me to learn teamwork and I came out with tones of fun memories!
EE: What would you say to people who want to play tennis?
LI: Go for it! The coaches are nice and it’s super fun! You’ll definitely make great memories!
EE: What advice would you give to younger players?
LI: Don’t be afraid to hit the ball and have fun with it!
