The good news for junior Joe Kohler is that after the first and second round games, he leads in this year’s Eagle Eye Tournament Challenge.

The bad news for Kohler is that he won’t be there for long, because he has Duke winning the tournament. Duke was one of several second round upsets that sent many brackets in the Tyrone Tournament into the dumpster.

“I really thought Duke was going to go pretty far, but it’s ok, I’ll still finish pretty solid,” said Kohler about his busted bracket.

There are a handful of people in second place, but three of the five people in second have Duke winning also.

The favorite to win right now depends on who people think will win the Tourney. If UCLA wins, sophomore Mike Nagle and senior Gage Light are favorites. If North Carolina wins, juniors Parker Mitchell and Asher Christine, and Tyrone staff member and football coach Pat McNelis are favorites.

Junior Asher Christine is pretty confident in North Carolina, stating that, “I’m pretty confident that everyone who didn’t pick North Carolina will lose.”
