PlacementCenter Hardwood LLC

Accomplishments:

Hunter’s placement is with Center Hardwood LLC where he helps to load trucks, and assist in the mill areas to make shavings for chicken bedding and wood stove pellets.

Hunter hopes one day to join the family operation as a full-time employee and eventually manage the operation.  Hunter’s AgriScience SAE’s are usually developed from his interests of the outdoors and hunting.  This year he is trying his hand at food science since he spends some hours each fall helping to make salsa.

Hunter’s 34 hours of community service included planting trees, cleaning up trash and raising funds for the Tyrone Football Boosters Club.

Hunter met his hours and investments through is placement and AgriScience SAE programs.

Over the past three years, Hunter attended State leadership conferences, an Area Dodgeball tournament (where they captured 3rd place) and competed in soil judging, Envirothon and AgriScience.
