This week’s episode is centered on the power struggle between Falcone and Marone , when Gotham’s biggest crime families fight over the land mass where the old Arkham Asylum stood.”

Meanwhile a hit man who works for both Marone and Falcone starts killing councilmen and even targets the mayor (but fails thanks to the efforts of Det. Jim Gordon and Det. Harvey Bullock). Back at Marone’s restaurant his manager is killed by Oswald Cobblepots hired goons, who steal half of the restaurants money and let their boss take the other half. When Marone thinks Oswald saved the other half for him he makes Oswald the new manager. Meanwhile Fish Mooney tries to find a weapon, a girl. One who can sing and wants to be a woman of power, respect, and wealth; someone who will do whatever it takes to achieve that. And Fish gets what she wants. Back at the police station Barbara and Jim break up when one of Barbara’s exes shows up and won’t accept that it’s over.

When Gotham votes for the plan they want for Arkham the vote ends in a tie, leaving Falcone to build low income housing and open Arkham and Marone is left to build a waste dump. This sends a message to all organized crime in Gotham, in the words of Fish Mooney,” Falcone is getting old and weak”, when Bullock asks Fish what she has to gain from her bosses downfall, she said don’t worry about me, I always have a plan B” and nods to her new singer, to her weapon. That’s it for this week’s episode, tune in next Monday for the newest Gotham episode on FOX.
