Lexi and Dylan

Senior Dylan Thomas has been with TAHS alumni Lexi Cannistraci for two and a half years and has gone to prom with her since her junior year.

Since it is his senior year, and now their third prom together, Dylan promposed with pictures of their past proms on a sign that said “I couldn’t picture prom without you.”

This is also their third entry in the Eagle Eye promposal contest.  To see their previous entries, click the Related Stories box on the left side of the page.

Promposer: Dylan Thomas

Eagle Eye: Describe in detail how you asked them.

Dylan Thomas: “I saw past pics of us at prom and an idea sprung in my head. I asked her to come over and she saw me holding my sign “I couldn’t picture prom without you”. My parents helped me.”

EE: Why did you choose this person to ask?

DT: “She’s my girlfriend.”

EE: Where did you get the inspiration for the idea?

DT: “Seeing past prom photos.”

EE: What relationship do you have with this person?

DT: “Girlfriend.”

Promposee: Lexi Cannistraci

Eagle Eye: Give your side of the story. Why do you think they asked you?

Lexi Cannistraci: “He’s my boyfriend.”

EE: Describe in detail how you were asked and how you felt.

LC: “Dylan surprised me w/ a poster that said “I can’t picture prom without you” with pics of us from the last 2 proms. I wasn’t expecting it at all.”

EE: Did you have any suspicions that you were going to be asked by them?

LC: “I had high suspicions that he’d ask me, we have been dating for 2.5 years and we’ve went to prom every year. I knew he’d ask, I just had no idea when.”

EE: Why should you win the contest?

LC: “I think we should win because this is our third prom together and third time’s the charm!”
