Dance Fusion Competition Team’s competitive dance season is right around the corner.

This Saturday, February 11th Dance Fusion hosts its 20th annual competition showcase on PSU Altoona Campus at the Misciagna Family Center For Performing Arts.

“I’m looking forward to starting off my senior year with our showcase and competition. I’m also looking forward to spending time with my team,” said senior dancer Sage Rumberger.

Owner and Artistic Director Lindsay Pullara could not be more ready for this weekend.

“I’m so excited for the showcase, It’s my favorite show of the year,” said Pullara.

Tyrone seniors Marley Grazier, Sage Rumberger, and Lizzy Fryer are also excited for the show to prove their hard work one last time.

“I’m ecstatic to show people how hard we’ve worked for months and leave everything on the stage,” said Lizzy Fryer.

The show will consist of 40 dances with various styles, such as Contemporary, Modern, Lyrical, Jazz, Hip Hop, Contacro, and Lyripop.

“I’m always nervous about the showcase but it’s a good nervous. There are definitely going to be many emotions, but I can’t wait to get back out on the stage,” said Marley Grazier.

Doors open at 5:30 and the show starts at 6:00.

Tickets will be $10 for general admission but must be pre-ordered through Dance Fusion due to the venue.

Dance Fusion’s first competition is Sunday, February 12th as an optional solo, duet, or trio opportunity with their first group competition February 17th-19th.

“When my dancers step out on that stage Saturday, I have complete confidence that they will be amazing,” said Pullara.
