Dance Fusion’s competition team continued with their successful season this past weekend at That’s Entertainment in Lancaster.

It was Dance Fusion’s first time competing in the advanced division, and the team did well, receiving a total of 15 Platinum medals, 26 Solid Gold medals, 22 1st place division winners, 12 2nd place division winners, eight top 6-10th place overalls, five top 5th place overalls, one top 4th place overall, five top 3rd place overalls, five top 2nd place overalls, four top 1st place overalls. eight judges choice medals, four elite team invitations, and one MVC award, Entertainer of the Year Award.

The scoring went from Silver, Gold, High Gold, Solid Gold, Platinum, Platinum Plus.

The judges recognized the dancer’s abilities and thought it would be best for them to take the step up to the highest division of competition.

“I’m very proud of everyone’s hard work this past weekend, and I can’t wait to see what we achieve at our next competition,” said senior dancer Paige Shultz.

Their next competition is on April 8-10 in Pittsburgh.
