Tyrone percussion places first at Windber competition; Performs next at Glendale on Saturday, March 12

The Tyrone Indoor Percussion Ensemble traveled to the Johnstown area on Saturday, March 5th for their second TIA show at the Windber Area School District.

The Indoor Percussion Team performed at 6:00 pm with a large amount of parents and students in attendance. Tyrone placed first with a score of 70.50, the same score as last week’s home show performance.

The percussion and guard will travel to Glendale High School this week for their 3rd competition of the season.

Tyrone’s Percussion Team will perform at 12:27 and the Guard will perform at 3:23.  The awards will be given at 4:25.  

Admission is $7 per adult and $5 for students. A food drive is also being held and anyone who donates a non-perishable food item will receive one dollar of the cost of admission.
