Lady Eagles Volleyball Drops Season Opener to Bellwood 3-2

Tyrone has never defeated the Bellwood Blue Devils in girls volleyball, and while that streak still stands, the Eagles are getting closer each season.  The girls put up a good fight but lost to their southern rival in the fifth set. The Lady Eagles won the first set 27-25, lost the second 23-25 and third 12-25, won the fourth 25-16, but sadly unfortunate the last one 5-15.

“We did really good with defense, but what hurt us the most was our serving. We will have to work on it more,” said junior outside hitter Emily Fusco.
