Eagle Eye: What is the biggest difference from middle school to high school?

Haley Butina: You have a lot more responsibility with assignments and due dates. Grades actually matter now.

EE: What is your hardest class this year? Why?

HB: U.S. History, because there’s a lot of information you need to know.

EE: What is your favorite part of high school so far? Why?

HB: Having so much more freedom and not being treated like kids anymore. I also love all the clubs and activities the school offers, there’s so many.

EE: Are you involved in any extracurricular activities? If so, what?

HB: Yes. I am a part of concert choir, National Honor Society, Aevidum, ski club, mock trial, and YAN.

EE: What are some of your favorite activities or hobbies?

HB: I enjoy singing, playing the guitar, and hanging out with my friends.

EE: What is your favorite movie?

HB: I’ve seen way too many good movies I can’t choose.

EE: What is your favorite sports team?

HB: I don’t follow sports.

EE: What is your favorite food?

HB: Cheese pizza

EE: What is your favorite band or musical artist?

HB: Maroon 5, Imagine Dragons, Arctic Monkeys, A Rocket to the Moon, Ed Sheeran

EE: What advice would you give to next year’s freshmen?

HB: High school’s not that bad, just keep your stuff in line and you’ll be fine.
