Engle, Lehman, and Cannistraci lead Lady Eagles over Huntingdon

Engle racks up 22 points to get her even closer to her 1,000 countdown.

The girls improved their record to 4-0 last evening as they routed over the Bearcats 71-38 in a league conference match-up.

Kasey Engle had yet another impressive game scoring 16 of her game-high 22 points in the first half. However, Engle wasn’t the only scorer with double digits. Emily Lehman added 12 while Alexis Cannistraci put up ten.

“We looked really balanced tonight,” said coach Rhoades, “We wanted to come out and play hard right right from the start, and we did that.”

The Lady Eagles were ahead 50-13 at the end of the first half, and the score never got closer, expanding to 62-24 after the third and then ending with a solid 71-38 in the books.

“We are playing very versatile and cohesive as a team,” said Junior Engle when asked about her team’s success so far.

Christine, Sprankle, Shaw, Noll, Mountz, and Welsh were also able to score points for the Eagles.

Tyrone travels to Clearfield Friday night for another conference match-up. Tip off is at 7:30.
