Delgrosso’s Looks for Summer Employees
Delgrosso’s Amusement Park in Tipton, PA is searching for employees to join their team in the 2017 season. The season runs from the beginning of May to the end of September. The opening day for the 2017 season is May 6.
On Saturday, January 21st from 9 am- 12 pm, there will be a Job Fair and Information Session in the lobby of the Altoona High School Field House. Interested applicants are able to talk with representatives from each department at the park to see if they are interested.

Last year, Tyrone junior Noel Politza worked at the Laguna Splash Water Park as a lifeguard. His favorite part about the job were “the extremely helpful and understanding staff members.” He is planning to return in the 2017 season.
Sophomore Jayden Graham also worked at the park at Pasta Fresca on the waterside. Her favorite part about working there was that she made many new friends.
Another current Tyrone student who worked in food was junior McKenzie Johnson. She worked in Sauce Boss Pizza on the park side. “I liked working with my best friends and eating pizza with her,” said Johnson.
Laguna Splash is hoping to hire around 300 employees and the park side is hoping to hire 650. If interested in applying, you are able to do so online at http://www.delgrossos.com/employment/. The minimum age requirement for most openings is 15 years old.

- Ride Operator
- Security

Benefits are also included when accepted for the job. You are able to attend summer employee parties, have work reward programs, and get into other Amusement Parks within PA.
