Ask the Coach with Head Coach Jason Wilson: Week 8

Each week the Eagle Eye sits down with Coach Wilson to get his perspective on the Golden Eagles

Ask the Coach with Head Coach Jason Wilson: Week 8

Eagle Eye: How do you feel we match up against the Central Mountain Wildcats this week?

Coach Wilson: We match up with them very well. They are better than last year but I think we still match up against them

EE: How is your team coping with injuries this week?

CW: Trying to manage and get through. Several starters out and new guys in new positions trying to step up

EE: How do you feel the team will bounce back after the hard fought loss?

CW: I think that we will be fine. Everybody realizes that we played to the end. We just missed some opportunities against Clearfield

EE: What is your biggest concern for this game?

CW: That we rebound and refocus from last week. Also, that we don’t overlook them.

E: Being a quad-A school, do you think that the size of Central Mountain’s squad will play an effect in the game?

CW: They have more depth but you can only play 11 so I don’t think it matters

EE: Were practices this week as intense as you would have liked?

CW: We had to scale back some stuff because of the injuries, but the main thing is that we have to get all of our work in and complete it which we did.
