Two of the nominees listed above will receive the honor of being named the 2016 Homecoming Queen and Princess at halftime of the annual Homecoming Football game on October 7, 2016.

Members of the 2016 Homecoming Court were selected by the coaches or advisers of all clubs, extracurricular organizations and sports teams at Tyrone High School.  Every club, sport and organization receives one nomination.  However, by rule seniors may not represent more than one organization.  In the event that a senior was nominated first for more than one organization, the homecoming committee then moved to some organizations second or third choice.

All seniors nominated for Homecoming Court should report to room 229 (Mrs. Smith) at 7:30 am on September 21, 2016 to receive important information.

Nominees should also take note of the following important dates:

• September 23 – Nominee bio sheets due to Mrs. Smith
• September 27  – Nominee picture day (during advisory)
• September 28 – Picture rain date
• October 3: Homecoming cans due
• October 3 – 5: Cans at lunch for penny vote
• October 4: Interviews (time and place TBA)
• October 5: Popular vote
• October 7: Homecoming ceremony at the Homecoming football game.
